SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As part of our social responsibility, we have identified the need to support and raise awareness about people living with diabetes. In doing so, we have invested in an initiative to substitute sugar with stevia and create a series of healthy dishes that are suitable for people with diabetes.

The result of this investment is the support we provide to the valuable work of CY DIABEATERS, a non-profit foundation for children with Type1 diabetes, by donating 10% of our sales from stevia dishes.

Stevia is a plant that produces sweet compounds with almost zero caloric value. It is widely used as an alternative sweet- ener to sugar as the sweet compounds produced by stevia do not contain carbohydrates and, therefore, do not affect the blood glucose levels. It is an excellent choice for people who follow a healthy diet or want to maintain their weight while it is suitable for people with diabetes.
